Growing up in the Bay Area, Amy never imagined experiencing a pandemic like COVID-19. During these extreme circumstances, Amy recognized the need in her community for access to medical masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. She believes that our healthcare workers who are on the front lines of this virus, risking their lives for us every day, need to be protected. Her empathy towards healthcare workers and passion for making a difference in her community inspired her to found ProjectMaskify. Aside from her ambition to make a mark on our society through ProjectMaskify, Amy is also a dedicated volunteer and youth leader for the Silicon Valley American Red Cross Chapter in which she serves as the Co-Chair of the Youth Executive Board leading 900+ youth in the Bay Area. Amy is a staunch supporter in the idea that age is not a barrier, but a stepping stone to reach new heights and accomplish the unimaginable. What started off as a simple societal issue, Amy transformed into ProjectMaskify with the help of her dedicated team!
